JON OLIVA'S PAIN drummer producer Chris Kinder recently posted the following update for the upcoming Jon Oliva Storytellers tour:
"On the day that we celebrate all our military heroes alive and fallen, we would like to announce what we can do to help them and honor them for their service and ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms and securing our way of life.1) All veterans who come to our State Theatre Show on December14th will save $5 off the ticket price when they present their veterans ID when purchasing tickets. Enlisted, retired, discharged...whatever. Show your ID and get $5 off.
2) We will be setting up an auction of musical signed merchandise (hopefully including a guitar) with ALL proceeds donated to a military charity yet to be determined. Tickets will be $1 each and we encourage everyone to cash in their lose change and bring your dollars to help a most important cause.
Cheers people....look forward to seeing you soon. Please spread the word about this event and all shows for the tour!"
