March 7, 2013, 11 years ago
American rock band JOURNEY's scheduled show on March 21st at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines has been canceled.
Singer Arnel Pineda explains: "Due to the extreme importance of the Easter holiday in my home country, as well as the deserved widespread media attention on the upcoming election in Manila, the ticket sales for Journey's upcoming show have understandably been somewhat slow. We have decided it is best for everyone to postpone the Manila concert until the next time Journey tours in Asia. We are very sorry that we won’t be able to see our fans this year, but we will see you again soon. You know we all love to play in Manila!"
Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey follows the real life rock 'n' roll fairy tale of Filipino Arnel Pineda, who was plucked from YouTube to become the frontman for Journey. In this Cinderella story for the ages, Arnel, having overcome a lifetime's worth of hardships, must now navigate the immense pressures of replacing a legendary singer and leading a world-renowned band on their most extensive world tour in years.
