KING DIAMOND Names Replacement Bassist

King Diamond has selected Swedish musician Pontus Egberg (The Poodles, Lion's Share, Zan Clan) as his temporary bassist for the band's upcoming tour dates following the recent departure of Hal Patino.
A photo of Egberg with the caption: "Overtime rehearsals with stand-in bass player Pontus Egberg from Sweden is paying off. See you at Grona Lund - Stockholm, on the 25th!" can be seen below.

On July 19th, bassist Hal Patino announced that he left King Diamond after 19 years of being in the group. His statement can be read here.
