Jerry Gaskill - who suffered a heart attack on February 26th - has been in intensive care recovery following an emergency operation.
A recent band update on his progress reads: "Jerry is still on a ventilator while also dealing with pneumonia in both lungs but is recovering. Doctors say it's a slow process but things are headed in the right direction. Good news!"
All upcoming North American tour dates for King's X have been cancelled. Jerry will be spending these days recovering back to full health so that he can hopefully join the band behind the drums at some point in the future.
Watch for updates on his condition here.
