KISS Presents $10,000 Cheque To Surrey Child Centre

CBC News reports that earlier today, July 4th, KISS presented the Mayor of Surrey, BC, Dianne Watts, with a $10,000 cheque for Sophie's Place, a child advocacy centre named after patron Sophie Tweed-Simmons, daughter of KISS bassist and vocalist Gene Simmons.

The presentation happened at the KISS Army Depot at Tom Lee Music (929 Granville Street) in Vancouver, BC. The event featured all four members of KISS in full make-up to mark the start of their 40th Anniversary Canadian Tour. And the first 200 fans in line got their KISS Army Depot merchandise signed by the band. Further details can be found at this location.
