In the clip below, screenwriter Carl V. Dupré joins rock journalist Mitch Lafon to discuss his role in the making of KISS' 1999 movie, Detroit Rock City. In this half hour chat recorded on February 27th, Dupré discusses the movie project's inception, writing the script, how the project got green lit, script changes, working on the set with KISS, director Adam Rifkin and producers Gene Simmons and Barry Levine. He also discusses the life and times of Ace Frehley movie, the heroic post-apocalyptic KISS movie and other planned KISS movie projects.
