KITTIE Vocalist/Guitarist Morgan Lander On 20th Anniversary DVD Documentary - "We're Going Through Hundreds And Hundreds Of Hours Of Video"
April 3, 2014, 10 years ago
KITTIE vocalist/guitarist Morgan Lander is featured in a new interview with The Londoner discussing the band's 20th Anniversary and the recently launched IndieGoGo crowd-funding campaign to support their planned documentary DVD and biography. An excerpt is available below:
The IndieGoGo campaign will also help fund a book with ghostwriter Mark Eglinton, who recently worked with Pantera bassist Rex Brown on a book about that band. Lander said the text, more so than the documentary, will explore some of Kittie’s more difficult times.
“They’re both going to tell the story but in a different way,” she said. “The DVD is going to be a lot more light hearted because when we were out on tour it was all about having a good time and having fun. The book on the other hand, will focus a little bit more on the business side of things and some of the things that happened with labels and past members.”Go to this location for the complete story.
Kittie recently checked in with the following update:
"Unbelievable! You have officially spoken! In just 8 hours, you have proven to be the most amazing, dedicated, giving fans anyone could ask for! This project is going to be so great, thanks to you! We have reached our goal! If you still want to contribute, there is plenty of time to do so, and a ton of stuff still available."To check out and take part in the IndieGogo crowd funding campaign in support of the project, go to this location.
