KRAKOW Issue New Update From The Studio
February 9, 2009, 15 years ago
Bassist/vocalist Frode Kilvik from Norwegian stoner metal band KRAKOW has issued following studio update:
"Greetings all. We have finished all the songs except for the vocals. The funny thing about the recording of the album, is that it has turned out a lot different than what we thought it would be. It is much darker and heavier. I think it will be a very interesting album, and for all of you who heard us before, or been to our shows, you will be surprised! On Saturday we recorded the instrumental 'Monolith', and during the evening, we got a visit from Inge Rypdal (EMMERHOFF AND THE MELANCHOLY BABIES), he put down some noise guitar on the song, and the result was insane! Thank you Inge!
Sunday we recorded 'Coronated King', this ended up sounding nothing like the version here on MySpace, something happened in the studio, 'Coronated King' is now the darkest, most occult song we've recorded. Can't wait to see the reaction on people when we play this live.
Anyway, vocals will be done hopefully during this week. Mixing of the album will be late April and early May.
See you soon!"
