Earache Records reports:
Mad, bad and dangerous to mow - LAWNMOWER DETH return to The Pitz at the Woughton Centre, Milton Keynes in the UK on Friday, June 5th as a warm-up for their eagerly awaited and long-overdue appearance at this years Download Festival.
The thrash legends will be heading an all-star cast, supported by fellow Earache mega thrashers GAMA BOMB, hardcore moshers VIRUS and Nottingham speed merchants METAL MESSIAH.
Lawnmower Deth bassist Mightymo Destructimo states: "We are chuffed as chuffed things to be playing with Gama Bomb at one of our old stomping grounds, it's like one big thrash love in. We've known Virus and Metal Messiah for years and years so it's a chance to blend the old with the new, but then again Gama Bomb are old-school so does that count? I don't know, just get yourself there and find out!"
Gama Bomb bassist Joe "Wild Bill" Mac Quick Draw adds: "I think it's very kind of Earache to let Lawnmower Deth out of their old people's home for the day to foul themselves on stage at The Pitz once again... Seriously we are totally humbled to play with the 'Deth as well as Metal Messiah and Virus, all amazing bands and big influences on G-Bomb. It's a real once-in-a-lifetime line-up so get your ass to Mars, I mean The Pitz."
The evening will be compered by former ACID REIGN frontman H and his alter-ego Keith Platt. The doors open at 7:30 PM, with the first band onstage at 8:00 PM and the bands finishing at 11:15 PM.
Tickets are incredible value for money at only £8 in advance and can be bought from wegottickets.com.
