Former Cradle Of Filth backing vocalist / keyboardist turned solo artist Lindsay Schoolcraft took home The Artist of The Year award at this year's OMA's, which celebrates artists in Ontario's Durham Region. Pro-shot video of Lindsay performing her song "Twin Flame" can be viewed below.
Lindsay posted the following message on October 2nd:
"Hello, friends on the internet. I’ve finally had a chance to catch my breath after such a wild week. The OMA award show was fabulous and I wanted to sent out my many thanks again to everyone involved who made it possible.
I also wanted to extend my gratitude to those of you who voted. Thanks to you I took home Artist of The Year for the second year in row. I’m so incredibly humbled and honoured by this.
The Artist of The Year award is for outstanding achievements that put my home city (Oshawa, Ontario) on the map. This year this win recognizes my work and collaborations with such acts and artists as Motionless In White, Cancer Bats, Jen Majura, Fabienne Erni, Rocky Gray, IVEEN, Phantasma Photography and many, many others. Thank you for making music with lil ol’ me, y’all!"
