Fretless guitar god Tim Donahue recently spoke to BW&BK; about the possibility of going on tour to support his new MADMEN & SINNERS album, which features the vocal talents of DREAM THEATER singer James LaBrie.

“James and I have discussed performing the album live, so it’s a definite maybe at this point. Whether or not we would do an acoustic live performance or something with a full band is up in the air. The thing is, I don’t want to do anything half assed. The band would have to be very well rehearsed and well paid. I’ve dicussed this with my Japanese label, EMI, and they’re talking about putting an acoustic thing together. What that would mean is James and I would do the acoustic pieces from the album as well as the acoustic songs that were recorded but never used, but we’d be backed up by keyboards to fill out the sound. I’d rearrange some of the stuff so it could be performed live. I wouldn’t want to stop with Japan, though. If it works there I’d definitely want to take the show out to as many places as we could manage.”
