MASTODON have announced their new North American headlining tour, with THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN and RED FANG as support. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting Thursday, September 15th. For a limited time (until midnight on September 26th), every pair of tickets purchased online will also receive one digital copy of Mastodon's new album, The Hunter.

Mastodon recently released a new viral video, for the track 'Spectrelight'. Once again, Mastodon is proud to feature vocal assistance on this track from their dear friend, Scott Kelly of NEUROSIS, who had this to say about this long-standing tradition:

Mastodon recently released a new single to radio for the track, 'Curl Of The Burl'. Check out the track and coinciding video on YouTube below:

Mastodon will unveil their new album, The Hunter, on the Rockline Radio Show with host Bob Coburn on Monday, September 26th, a day before street date. The show starts at 11:30 PM (EST)/8:30 PM (PST) and fans are encouraged to speak with the band by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625). For more information go to this location.

The Hunter will feature a special 3D experience called augmented reality. Using a camera on a computer, fans can turn their own face into The Hunter sculpture from the album cover.

There will also be a CD/DVD that comes with a track-by-track video, psychedelic visualizer, and videos for the tracks ‘Deathbound’ and ‘Black Tongue’ videos.

The limited edition comes with a lenticular poster and two bonus tracks – ‘Deathbound’ and ‘The Ruiner’.
