MEGADETH Presented With Gold Plaques For Greatest Hits: Back To The Start Collection; Video, Photos Available

MEGADETH was presented with gold plaques by their label EMI last night (July 23rd) in Toronto, ON for their Greatest Hits: Back To The Start collection. Video can be seen below:

The Greatest Hits: Back To The Start collection was released in 2005 and is the second compilation album by Megadeth. The tracklisting for the set was largely the result of a poll on Megadeth.com, where tens of thousands of fans voted for their favourite songs to be chosen for the collection.

The band is currently crossing America on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival with DISTURBED, GODSMACK, MACHINE HEAD, IN FLAMES and TRIVIUM, MEGADETH tour. The tour schedule is as follows:

Megadeth has set TH1RT3EN as the title of its new and 13th album, tentatively due this fall via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded at the band's own recording facility - Vic's Garage studio - in San Marcos, California with producer Johnny K (DISTURBED, 3 DOORS DOWN, FINGER ELEVEN).
