Ex-MEGADETH guitarist Glen Drover has checked in with the following update:

"Okay, so after many people talking about Shawn (Drover/drums) and I switching instruments during my time in Megadeth, here it is.

I just uploaded a clip from the Sun Plaza in Tokyo Japan 2007 (same venue that JUDAS PRIEST recorded Unleashed In The East!) from my video collection on YouTube of this. You see, while I was in Mega, I used to film most of the shows (I probably have over 60 shows) for the band to watch afterward and critique what we were doing for possible improvements to be made in upcoming shows. This was also one of my very last shows with the band.

This is one of the very few times that Me and Shawn switched instruments at a Megadeth concert for the song 'Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?' and to my knowledge, its probably the only known video in existence. Enjoy!

Glen Drover recentzly contacted BW&BK; with the following update:

"Hello All!

Just thought I would throw a little update about the progress of the second GLEN DROVER BAND album that we are currently recording, which is tentatively titled Between Sea And Sky. So far we have completed two instrumental songs for the album and I'm extremely happy with what we have accomplished so far. I have decided to take a different approach in terms of recording this time around, which is to work on one piece and finish it 100% before moving on the next tune. Because of our situation, we are able to do this easily, and so far it's working out awesome.

As I had mentioned before about having 'some' vocals on this new album, we are talking with some guys I worked with in the past (some I haven't) and although I really cannot say for sure who will make the album - as some of what is going on is collaborative and interactive, which means it might work, and it may not - what I can tell you is that the singers are Henning Basse from METALIUM / SONS OF SEASONS who is a singer I have wanted to work with for many years. Killer singer and a really cool guy. Nils K Rue (PAGAN'S MIND) will be on the album 100%, and I can safely say that because of what we accomplished on the Eidolon album we did together back in 06, which I am very proud of.

I would like to say that all singers that I'm talking to will be on the album, but only time will tell if we can record a song together that will be a strong as the rest of the album will be. Stay tuned for more on that really soon......

On a final note, this summer is going to be a busy one. There are two things going on that I cannot reveal right now, but hope to very soon, which should be very very cool! Aside from that, I have a few spots left for my 'online guitar lesson/interactive recording' sessions for the summer.
