MEGADETH's David Ellefson Talks About Being A Metal Master, Jamming With PHILIP ANSELMO
March 27, 2012, 12 years ago
Charlie Benante and Frank Bello (ANTHRAX), David Ellefson (MEGADETH), Mike Portnoy (ex-DREAM THEATER, ADRENALINE MOB), Kerry King and now Dave Lombardo (both of SLAYER) are back with an exclusive metal experience that's bigger than ever dubbed Metal Masters 3, scheduled for Thursday, April 12th at the Key Club in West Hollywood, CA. Artists will perform both individually and collectively, demonstrating their personal techniques and how they all come together to create the music that millions bang their heads to every day.
Megadeth's David Ellefson remembers playing Pantera with Philip Anselmo last year. "As far as I know, Phil hasn't sung those Pantera songs since the band broke up, so for him to come out and do that was very gracious. It sounded like he didn't miss a beat, he was dead on. And Kerry was thrilled."
