MELIAH RAGE Hard At Work On New Record; Studio Photos With METAL CHURCH Frontman Available

Boston power metallers MELIAH RAGE are currently hard at work in the studio on their next release, tentatively due to hit stores this summer on Screaming Ferret Wreckords. The band are holed up at Red Devil Recording in Stoughton, MA with Rich Spillberg (former WARGASM guitarist) handling the production duties alongside Meliah Rage mainman Anthony Nichols. Drum tracks are all but finished, and the band flew in METAL CHURCH frontman Ronny Munroe this past weekend to lay down vocals on 'Last Rites', "one of many tunes on the new slab that lean toward Meliah's thrashier roots, which is sure to please hardcore fans and garner the band some new listeners in the process," according to a band update.
Bassist Darren Lourie heads into the studio this month to lay down his tracks, with the rest of the band to follow over the course of the winter. The band have added a couple of pictures from this past weekend's session at www.myspace.com/meliahrage.
