MELTDOWN Ink Deal With Nuclear Blast

Los Angeles, California-based thrashers MELTDOWN have inked a deal with Nuclear Blast. According to a press release, "the band take the metal community back to early 1980, thrashing metal mad like hell! Being still young, angry and possessed by old school metal, Meltdown from were immediately signed to Nuclear Blast when the label’s officials first heard their demo of 2007!"
Here’s what Nuclear Blast A&R; Marko Sirac has to say about the signing of this new, fresh and very promising young band: "Meltdown are just killer! This young bands old chool Thrash sounds fresher than it did ever before by a band of that age! These guys really have style!“
Meltdown will enter the legendary Stage One Studios with even more legendary producer Andy Classen (LEGION OF THE DAMNED, DEW-SCENTED, NEAERA, BELPHEGOR, ASPHYX) this week to record their first album Executioner, which is set to be unleashed in August 2008.
