SLAVIOR drummer Mark Zonder has recently issued the following update regarding his scheduled appearance at this yeaf's NAMM event:

"Philip Bynoe and I will be playing at the Steinberg Media Technologies on Saturday January 16th at 12 PM. We will be helping demonstrate the new recording setup, MR816, CC121. This will be an impromptu jam with Steinberg's Brian McGovern playing jembe as well. Should prove to be quite entertaining. Check out the system on the Steinberg site. Hope to see you Saturday."

NAMM 2010 runs from January 14th - 17th at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. For details click here.

As previously reported, Slavior are currently finishing up recording album tracks for a 4-song demo. Guitarist/keyboardist Wayne Findlay (MSG) commented:

"Recording for the demo of the second Slavior album finally begins!!

Mark (Zonder) has finished drumz for these four already. I'm laying guitars down this week, Philip (Bynoe) will come down here with bass in hand next week, followed by Gregg Analla the week after for vox. We are very stoked to have him back on board.

Slavior is extremely excited to start the demo for second album, which we are 16 songs into at the moment. The material is heavier than the first album but still has the Slavior sound! Engineer Joe Marlett has dialed in some crushing guitar tones, as well as sick drum tones as well. He will once again be at the helm on this project.

Stay tuned for updates and progress as it unfolds..."
