MESHUGGAH Stream New Track On MySpace; Prep Release, Tour
February 7, 2008, 16 years ago
Swedish metal extremists MESHUGGAH have posted a new track, entitled 'Bleed', on their MySpace page. The track is the first preview of the band's forthcoming sixth full-length, obZen, slated for North American release on March 11th.
Listen to 'Bleed' at this location.
In a recent interview, Tomas Haake discussed the new record: "The album is much more dense, while still being very clear and audible as far as drum parts and guitar riffs. Lyrically it's quite different from Catch Thirty Three, more diverse. There is, however, somewhat of a 'red line' or concept running through all of them."
Haake has been a busy guy, also taking time to chat about the band and the new record with guitarist Marten Hagstrom and Nuclear Blast Records' Loana dP Valencia in the second episode of the Nuclear Blast Video Cast.
