METALLICA's Robert Trujillo - "I've Learned How To Cater To Personalities..."

The Province has issued the following report from Alan Sculley:
Since he joined METALLICA five years ago, bassist Rob Trujillo, by all accounts, has helped the group improve its internal chemistry and made life in the volatile band smoother than it has been in years.
Trujillo, if a mid-October phone interview was any indication, isn't one to brag about his contributions to the group. But he realizes he has had a way of being able to work with strong personalities throughout his career.
He started out in SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, a band led by Mike Muir, a musician whose personality extremes were apparent in the hard-edged music he wrote as well as in his nickname "Psycho Miko."
Prior to joining Metallica, Trujillo played with one of the most colourful figures in all of rock history, OZZY OSBOURNE, serving as his bassist for seven years.
"I've learned how to cater to personalities, I think, pretty well, even when it comes to family," the soft-spoken Trujillo said. "With Ozzy, with Suicidal Tendencies, we had interesting personalities. It's a part of being on a team, so to speak. It's probably no different than being on a baseball team or a football team. You've just got to know how to work with people and keep it together because everybody's different."Read the full report at Canada.com.
