Danish death/thrash metallers MORDAX will release their debut album, Violence Fraud Treachery, on February 24th via Ultimhate Records in Europe and worldwide digitally.

The 5-piece thrash/death metal ensemble from Copenhagen, Denmark known as Mordax has been creating its brutal breed of melodic metal music for about a year and half now. Having released just one demo EP and played a handful of shows in the major cities of Denmark, the band has already been able to convince music critics and the Danish metal audience alike that they are a force to be reckoned with on the thrash metal scene.

Mordax reaches back towards a sound that is raw, real and human. Combining various elements from thrash and death metal with a rock-inspired approach to songwriting, the band's sound is first and foremost its own: Simplistic thrash/death metal with fear-inducing growled vocals, catchy guitar lines and organic grooves center stage. The band plays around with metal clichés mixing them with their own new ideas, and in the process they come up with something that invokes nostalgia yet sounds decidedly new.

Mordax recently finished its debut album, Violence Fraud Treachery, which was recorded in CB Studios, Denmark and mixed and mastered in Unisound, Sweden by Swedish metal legend Dan Swanö, known from EDGE OF SANITY and BLOODBATH, as well as from work with OPETH, ASPHYX, HAIL OF BULLETS and AEON.
