MetalMonthly.com

has issued a new update with MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx regarding the upcoming Mötley Crüe album, Saints Of Los Angeles and Covenant House Gala Awards.

MetalMonthly.com: Nikki, how special was it for you to be honored at Covenant House California’s ninth annual Awards Gala held last Friday, May 9th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel?

Sixx: "It was really a great night! I think the best part of being honored is knowing how much awareness we're bringing to Covenant House and the kids. The more awareness, the more money we draw into helping the kids. It's a win win for everybody."

MetalMonthly.com: Would you say that the upcoming Mötley Crüe release recaptures the excitement of the heyday of the Crüe and was it hard to re-live the past again in order to write the album?

Sixx: "I think it's one of the best records we've ever done! It feels like a honest rock album to me."

MetalMonthly.com: Is it true that Mötley Crüe has recorded one more track for the upcoming release, Saints Of Los Angeles?"

Sixx: "We recorded one new track. The album has 13 tracks now. I can't wait to play these songs live!"

MetalMonthly.com: Nikki, would you like to comment on Crüe Fest?

Sixx: "It is going to be a summer of excess!"

Saints Of Los Angeles has a new release date of June 24th and will feature the following tracks: 'Mother Fucker Of the Year', 'Down At The Whiskey', 'Saints Of Los Angeles', 'Face Down In The Dirt', 'What's It Gonna Take', 'Chicks = Trouble', 'White Trash Circus', 'The Animal In Me', 'Welcome To The Machine', 'This Ain't A Love Song', 'Just Another Psycho'.

Mötley Crüe's new song 'Saints Of Los Angeles' is currently streaming on BW&BK; KnuckleTracks Audio Player - head to the left-hand-side of BraveWords.com to listen.
