Nashville’s FOREST OF TYGERS Readying Debut EP Bruises; Streaming Track ‘Wet Death’

FOREST OF TYGERS are a genre-bending, blackened and manic metal duo from Nashville, TN poised to unleash their debut EP, Bruises, on April 29th. The release will be available on cassette via Primitive Violence and on CD/digital via Bandcamp, iTunes and the band's own imprint Acteon.
Longtime scene veterans and married couple Jim and Rachel Valosik forge a crushing wall of sonic oppression that combines black metal, hardcore, death and grind into a brutally primitive yet technical frenzy, all the while artfully co-existing with fractured soundscapes, loops, haunting vocals and dark lyrics.
Relentless and obsessively cohesive, Forest Of Tygers are as complex as they are urgent in the world of extreme metal. They’ve already shared the stage with the likes of INTER ARMA, WOE, NOISEM and SHROUD EATER, and with a slew of live appearances in the works, 2014 looks set to be the year of the Tyger.
