MetalSymphony.com recently conducted an interview with ex-SPOCK'S BEARD frontman NEAL MORSE in which he discusses the prog genre, his future, religion and other things. An excerpt from the chat follows:
Q: Do you think the genre of rock / progressive metal is growing? Beside your work, we had great tours from DREAM THEATER, OPETH, new releases from SYMPHONY X, SPOCK'S BEART, the return of the original ASIA... What do you think about this?
A: I think its great. I don’t know if it is growing. Some bands seem to be growing while others are not. I am not sure if the genre is growing. I am just glad to have listeners and to do what I love."
