NEWSTED - Dates Cancelled Due To "Private And Personal Circumstances"

Earlier this week, Australia's FasterLouder.com reported that NEWSTED - featuring former METALLICA bassist Jason Newsted - has cancelled their appearance on the upcoming Soundwave festival tour.
Jason has now issued the following statement: "Due to private and personal circumstances, we sincerely regret to inform you that the Newstead band is unable to perform in February and March as scheduled. Our deepest apologies for any inconvenience to you.
We are all gutted by this turn of events. Our hope is that we will have another opportunity to share our Heavy Music with you all again sometime in the near future. I'm sorry, Sisters & Brothers... we were really looking forward to these shows too."
Newsted recently released the third video from their Heavy Metal Music album. The clip for 'As The Crow Flies' features images created by Leon Melas & Cyryl Koshyk.
