TheRightToRock.com has posted an interview with NIGHTRAGE guitarist Marios Iliopoulos. Mario discusses Nightrage's new release A New Disease Is Born, the departure of vocalist Tomas Lindberg, amongst other topics. The following is an excerpt of the conversation:
TheRighttoRock.com: How is the new Nightrage CD A New Disease Is Born being received?
Marios Iliopoulos: We just felt that this is the right title for the new album it was a phrase from the lyrics of a song in Descent Into Chaos album and it fitted perfectly with the new music that we had and it was a cool line to remember. Nightrage is back with more cool music and awesome songs and they show that nothing can stop them.
TheRighttoRock.com: How did the new record come together compared to past efforts?
Marios Iliopoulos: I was working so hard to make this album a reality for almost one year; we did a lot of pre-production demos before we hit the studio, so we knew actually what we wanted. The music just came so naturally to us and we didn´t bother too much or we didn?t feel any particular pressure. I´m really proud of how this album sounds and I think it´s an evolution in the NR career.
