NOCTURNAL RITES bassist Nils Eriksson has issued the following update:
"Hey, we had a great time onboard the Gates Of Metal boat this weekend. Thanks to everyone involved.Now we'll get working on a set list for the summer and fall shows (more to be announced soon). This time we'll try and work in some old 'new' songs that we haven't played so far. We did one this weekend, 'Genetic Distortion Sequence' (Afterlife, 2001), and it went over really well indeed. Nice to see all you freaks going nuts over 'Never Again', too.
New merch and store will be up soon too. So, stay tuned!"

As previously reported, Nocturnal Rites have announced three live dates for Sweden, to take place in the days following their appearance at the Sweden Rock Festival. Their schedule is now as follows:

9/6 Västerås, Sweden - Hörnet / Aros Kongress Center
Nocturnal Rites have posted the brand new song 'Never Again' at their MySpace page. Check it out at this location.
Furthermore, the band present the new video clip for 'Never Again' at YouTube. The clip was directed by the band’s drummer Owe Lingvall, who started his own video production company Village Road Films last year and already created clips for WOLF, CARNAL FORGE and MORGANA LEFAY. The song 'Never Again' has been taken from Nocturnal Rites' new studio album The 8th Sin, which will hit stores via Century Media Records on the following dates:
