Nordic Metallers DRAUTRAN To Release First Album In Eight Years
August 21, 2007, 17 years ago
Prophecy Productions reports:
"Shortly before the end of the last millennium, the band DRAUTRAN from Kiel, Germany, self-released Unter dem Banner der Nordwinde, an album that has become a landmark of stormy Nordic Metal.Their name quickly made the circuit in the international underground, a few concerts - among them the Party.San Festival in 2002 and the Av Is Og Ild in 2004 - cemented the reputation of this Northern German band, whose furious and highly atmospheric Pagan Metal descends upon the listeners like a storm surge to inevitably sweep them away.
After eight years of deceitful calm, another storm is approaching: in fall 2007, a tempestuous hurricane entitled Throne Of The Depths will descend upon all those who dare to listen to the band - the music's elemental force will speak for itself.
The album will be released on October 29th via Lupus Lounge, with whom the band has signed a five-album contract.
A dignified re-release of the classic Unter dem Banner der Nordwinde has also been agreed upon."
