OFF THE RECORD Heavy Metal Recording Industry Documentary Preview Available; Features Interviews With MEGADETH, OZZY OSBOURNE Members

Heavy Metal Thrash Podcast has announced the launch of a newly revamped documentary web series Off The Record that surrounds the heavy metal recording industry to discuss tough questions about the industry itself, how it’s run and where labels see their role in a digital future.

The footage was captured in 2007 and never fully released by the original concept creator Robert Bolger and associate during the time of production, Frankie Nasso of Nova Entertainment Group. Originally planned to be released under the title Behind The Suit Tie as a full length DVD before the content was contributed to the Heavy Metal Thrash Podcast.
In a series of interviews, pointing the camera at some of the prime movers and shakers who run today's heavy metal recording industry to address piracy, corruption, manipulation issues and the truth of how the industry is being affected by the major impact of illegal downloading.
The first of five episodes will premiere Monday, October 5 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. via Heavy Metal Thrash and will feature Al Dawson (Earache Records), Eddie Trunk (VH1 Classic's That Metal Show), Paul Conroy and Carl Severson (Good Fight Entertainment), Alan Becker (Sony Red, Distribution), Brian Slagel (Metal Blade Records), Rob "Blasko" Nicholson (Ozzy Osbourne), David Ellefson (Megadeth).
