April 30, 2009, 15 years ago
Norwegian black metallers OLD MAN’S CHILD will release their seventh studio album, Slaves Of The World, on May 18th in Europe and on May 19th in North America (via Century Media Records).
Mastermind Galder comments: "So finally the new album Slaves Of The World is about to be released! It has been a long ride in preparing this but I am really proud of the results! It marks to be one of the Old Man’s Child albums I put the most advance planning and dedication into! I can't wait for you all to hear the record!!! If you want to see and hear more about it, just head to our MySpace page now to witness a new page-design and to be in touch with feedback on the new material. The album's opening song ‘Slaves Of The World’ is already launched there and another new promo track will be available there soon as well. Stay grim!”
The album will also be available as luxurious cross-shaped five-panel CD digipak including a re-recorded version of the classic song ‘Born Of The Flickering’ from the Vermin album sessions (previously only released in Japan) as exclusive bonus track.
The Digipak version also features a different artwork than the standard jewel case CD, also created by Gustavo Sazes (FIREWIND, GOD FORBID, KRISIUN, etc.).
