OMMATIDIA To Start Recording New Album In May

OMMATIDIA - featuring former THE OLD DEAD TREE members Nicolas Chevrollier (guitar) and Vincent Danhier (bass) - have issued the following update:

"We wish you all a happy, healthy and heavy new year! 2013 will be a major step for the band, with the recording of their follow-up to 2011's successful In This Life, Or The Next album. We have confirmed that the selection has been made regarding the studio. Thus, the band will start with the recording sessions in May."

"I did fully express myself all along the writing process," drummer Olivier adds. "We have given ourselves a little more time on the composing. I easily built my own drums parts alongside the melodic ideas introduced by our main composers and guitarists Gilles and Nicolas. So I really think I have significantly contributed to the final result of all songs. Can't wait to enter the studio right now..."
