ORPHANED LAND guitarist YOSSI SASSI has released his debut solo album, Melting Clocks, through Verycords.
Familiar to numerous music fans by his unique trademark sound signature, Sassi blends east with west, rock with world music, melodic tunes with progressive passages, and traditional folk instruments with roaring electric riffs. Coming from over 20 years as composer, arranger, producer and founding member of Orphaned Land, Yossi Sassi is recognized both as an instrumental masterpieces producer and a rock singer-songwriter as he he takes you to a journey around the world with traditional instruments such as Saz, Bouzouki, Oud, Chumbush and more. Sassi plays 17(!) different guitars and traditional folk instruments, and is known to constantly explore sound and musical boundaries. Yossi has cooperated and recorded with artists from Kuwait to Portugal including former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman who is featured on the album.
