PHILM Announce Whisky A Go-Go Show; Finish Demo Recordings

Los Angeles-based experimental post-hardcore triumvirate PHILM, featuring drummer Dave Lombardo (SLAYER), guitarist/vocalist Gerry Nestler (CIVIL DEFIANCE), and bassist Pancho Tomaselli (WAR) will be making a return appearance at the Whisky A Go-Go in West Hollywood, CA on Tuesday, May 4th.

Also on the bill are VANNACUTT and DEATHRIDERS, featuring original ANTHRAX vocalist Neil Turbin.

Philm recently completed recording their 3-song demo at NRG Studios in North Hollywood, CA with noted UK producer Piers Baron, who earlier worked with Lombardo and MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister on their cover of the BEN E. KING classic 'Stand By Me' for Flip Skateboards' 2009 Extremely Sorry movie soundtrack.

Philm are also scheduled to release a seven-inch single through the 2010 Volcom Entertainment's Vinyl Club.

Aniruddh "Andrew" Bansal has posted video footage of Philm, performing a cover of BLACK SABBATH's 'Symptom Of The Universe' on April 19th at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA.
