October 5, 2007, 17 years ago
XM Satellite Radio station Liquid Metal has given PIG DESTROYER’s Blake Harrison and MISERY INDEX’s Jason Netherton their own two-hour weekly radio show. The show, dubbed The Ultraviolence after the ’87 DEATH ANGEL album (and not too far removed from the Stanley Kubrick classic film A Clockwork Orange), will see its broadcast debut on Friday, October 12th at 7:00 pm EST. The Ultraviolence will then return every Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST on Liquid Metal, XM channel 42 (Channel 841 for Direct TV subscribers).
Netherton says of the program’s playlist: “We will play everything you may have missed, you have never heard of and/or you should know and raising your illegitimate children to (preferably starting in the womb). We will also be having guests and friends on regularly. The war starts next week! Check out www.MySpace.com/TheUltraViolenceRadio and add us up for weekly playlists. Thrash and death!”
