Denmark's PITCHBLACK check in with the following update:

"We are happy to announce, that we have made a deal with the Danish label Mighty Music, which is a part of Target Records.

We have had some offers beside Mighty Music, but they seemed to be the most serious and after one meeting with them, they left us with no doubt that they were the best for us. We had some more meetings with them and then we signed a contract.

This means that our second album The Devilty will be released by Mighty Music on February 28th.

Right now we' re doing a video for the track 'You're Fucking Below Me' as well as we are planning gigs for 2011.

We are so fucking eager to play the new material for you and we hope you like the shit that we've spent a lot of hours on!

If you don't know it already the album has been recorded by our guitarist Pede in his studio Earplug Studio in Copenhagen and then carefully been taken care of mastermind Tue Madsen (HEAVEN SHALL BURN, DARK TRANQUILLITY, MOONSPELL) who did the mixing and mastering.

Hank Shermann of MERCYFUL FATE plays a solo on the album as well.

The bloody cover art work has been made by a professional crime photographer, who has spent many years on the danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet and guitarist Jose did finish the cover booklet!

We're thrilled with everything right now! Merry fucking Christmas."
