hot flashes news

BW&BK; has received the following press release:

Chavis Records has teamed up and formed a strong alliance with the True Metal America Concert Series Organization.

True Metal America co-founder Bob Mitchell (Attacker) created the concert series exclusively for the Undergound Heavy Metal resurgence specifically in the United States. The series of concerts throughout the year, will take place in smaller venues where fans will able to catch some of the very best heavy metal bands that you read and hear about but never see live.

The shows will be reasonably priced and will also feature the best local bands as "Special Guests" who will have the privilage of sharing the stage with the Giants of the Underground. All bands that will be invited as our "Special Guests," will not be required to sell tickets. They will open our shows simply because they are great, quality acts. As the series progresses, we will add more great bands, grow in numbers, and revive our heavy metal scene here in America!

Upcoming shows will feature some of the great underground heavy metal icons and rock legends such as TYGERS OF PAN TANG, ROSS THE BOSS, RAM, CUSTARD, SEVEN WITCHES, VORTEX, MANILLA ROAD, AXEHAMMER, METAL INQUISITOR, HALLOWS EVE, ELIXIR, DESTRUCTOR, SACRED OATH, DANTESCO, ATTACKER, TWISTED TOWER DIRE, BEYOND FALLEN, RAVENSTHORN, EDENS FALL, ICARUS WITCH, CLOVEN HOOF, OVERDRIVE, THUNDERBREW and many more...

True Metal America events will not involve sponsors, agents, promoters or pay to play policies. The core belief and policy of True Metal America and CHAVIS RECORDS is the music. Returning the music back to the fans by the bands and making a True Metal America event affortable to the fans is key and has a proven track record thus far. "The system has been tested and proven and it works! Every concert event has been sold out and we've even had to turn a few people away but, we take their names and they get in for free at the next concert," says co-founder Bob Mitchell.

"Metal fans show up in masses, pay a reasonable price to catch a days worth of great music and the bands get paid a fair price plus make bank on their merchandise. Removing the conflict, hassles and keeping the event completely organized is what impressed me about Bob Mitchell and TMA. What's better than that? This is perfect for us and we are very excited about working with Bob and his organization," says label CEO/President Bill Chavis.

The first TMA/CR concert series event is scheduled for November 2007. More details to be announced.

By the bands! For the fans! 'Nuff said! We'll see you on the road!

In Rock,

Bob Mitchell, Co-Founder - True Metal America

Bill Chavis, CEO/President - Chavis Records
