According to www.VinnieAndDime.com, founding PANTERA member Vinnie Paul has posted a message concerning a new release date for REBEL MEETS REBEL on the www.rebelmeetsrebel.com message board (http://www.rebelmeetsrebel.com/phpBB2/index.php).

The new release date for Rebel Meets Rebel will be May 2nd, 2006.

Says Vinnie, “Hey everybody,we moved the release date for Rebel Meets Rebel and DimeVision to May 2nd... We are a new company and had to iron some kinks out… Please spread the NEW word of May 2nd!!!!! We greatly appreciate your patience. It’s worth the wait!!!

As previously reported, Rebel Meets Rebel, the “country/metal/rock” project that was formed by Pantera founding members Vinnie Paul, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (R.I.P.) and Rex Brown, have launched a website at www.rebelmeetsrebel.com .

The website has audio samples available for tracks to be featured on the band’s forthcoming self-titled CD, recorded between 1999 and 2003 with country singer DAVID ALLAN COE. The CD is due for release through Vinnie Paul’s Big Vin Records on May 2nd.

Track titles appearing among the songs on the album will include: ‘Cowboys’, ‘Get Out’, ‘No Compromise’, ‘Panfilo’ and ‘Rebel’.

In related news, Vinnie Paul has struck a deal with Fontana Distribution for his Big Vin Records label.
