Report - METALLICA Joins Bells Beach Fight

Rock legends METALLICA have joined the fight to protect Bells Beach (Victoria, Australia) from development.
The Surf Coast Shire has plans to upgrade facilities at Bells and build build more viewing platforms, signs and temporarily convert existing car spaces into bus bays.
Melallica's Kirk Hammett and Rob Trujillo, who surfed the famous break recently, have recorded their protest message on a video.
"We're here at Bells Beach to tell you to support and join the Bells Beach Preservation Society," Hammett says. While Trujillo adds: "Keep it real".
