Review And Setlist From Original YES Vocalist JON ANDERSON's Pennsylvania Show Available

Howard Whitman at Classic Rock Revisited has posted a review and the setlist from original YES vocalist JON ANDERSON's April 26th show at Havana in New Hope, PA. An excerpt is available below:
"Talk about truth in advertising! Jon Anderson's current tour is billed as 'The Voice Of Yes', and that's exactly what you get: the unmistakable, true voice of the legendary progressive rock band, performing a set of the band's classics, along with material from various stages of Anderson's solo career. These days, an Anderson show comes with a back story. The story is well-known now to Yes fans: how Anderson was sidelined by serious illness in 2008 as the band was about to resume touring in celebration of its 40th anniversary; how Chris Squire & co. brought in Benoit David, a singer from a Canadian Yes tribute band, first as a fill-in for the ailing singer and then as his permanent replacement. It was implied by the band that Anderson was no longer up to the task of singing with Yes. This show put that idea to rest.
A packed, standing-room-only house greeted Anderson as he took the stage. Guitar in hands, he did a short intro piece that was unfamiliar to most in the crowd, but then quickly switched gears into crowd-pleasing mode with the first of many Yes songs played that night, 'Yours Is No Disgrace'.

Featuring eleven new luminous songs with themes about love, life, understanding, healing and survival, Jon's new CD has an inspirational message for all who will listen.
“About four years ago I just put in an ad on my website: 'Musicians Wanted'... This is the result. Writing the songs for Survival & Other Stories was uplifting for me on many levels, I was working with musicians from around the world via the Internet, it's a new world, music is a healing energy, I had a tough 2008, through illness, and the music I've been writing since is a celebration of life on many levels... I hope you get the chance to hear the album."
Survival & Other Stories is the first of three albums to be released by Jon Anderson in the next two years.
Jon recently completed a successful east coast tour of the US, An Acoustic Evening With Jon Anderson, which featured and exciting mixture of material from Jon Anderson's prolific solo career, collaborations with Vangelis and classic Yes songs, along with new compositions from his new CD, Survival & Other Stories.
Jon will be performing select shows throughout this summer in the US and Canada. For tour dates visit this location.
