RUDHIRA Drummer Discusses New Album In Metal Express Radio Interview

Andreas Nergård, drummer for Norwegian progressive metal band RUDHIRA, is featured in an interview with Metal Express Radio discussing their new album, Ein. Check it out via the audio player below:

Nergård: "I think it's a more genuine kinda sound on this album, it's not... it's very natural, it's not, you know, putting in 'drumkit from hell' and a lot of different inputs and stuff like that making it sounding like all the other metal bands nowadays, the modern metal bands. So I think it's more back to the basic, back to the 70s and a very natural sound."

Rudhira recently released a teaser for the new album, available below. The video contains 20 second clips from each of the six songs on the album.

Ein was released on June 1st via Pug-Nose Records.

Ein was recorded at Trøndertun Folkehøgskole, Tonemakeriet, Kulturfabrikken ISAK. Acoustic guitars were recorded at Trondheim Studios, it was also engineered by Håkon Dalen and Audun Austli. The album was mixed and mastered by Knut Vegar Prytz and produced by the band.
