RUSH Documentary Title Confirmed; More Details Revealed

As previously reported, the forthcoming documentary on RUSH will receive its world premier at the Tribeca Film Festival in Lower Manhattan on Saturday, April 24th.

The festival website has listed the films for this year's event and the Rush film now has an official title - Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage.

The film was directed/produced by Banger Films Inc., the home of filmmakers Sam Dunn and Scot McFadyen (Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, Global Metal and IRON MAIDEN's Flight 666) and has a running time of 106 minutes.

A description of the film reads as follows:

"For fans and newcomers to the legendary Canadian band Rush, this is the music documentary to experience. Directors Scot McFadyen and Sam Dunn embark on a comprehensive exploration of this extraordinary power trio, from their early days in Toronto, through each of their landmark albums, to the present day. Sit back and revel in the words, music, and wonder of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart."

The film will feature contributions from a host of musicians who have toured with or been inspired by Rush, including

KISS, TOOL, FOO FIGHTERS, URIAH HEEP, SMASHING PUMPKINS' Billy Corgan, NINE INCH NAILS' Trent Reznor and PRIMUS.
