Author David Phillips has just launched a Kickstarter campaign for his second book, From the Riser, A Drummer's Perspetive II.
The coffee table book is a stunning collection of live action photos celebrating the world of drumming and features over a hundred drummers including: Stewart Copeland (THE POLICE), Lars Ulrich (METALLICA), Taylor Hawkins (FOO FIGHTERS), Travis Barker (BLINK-182), Tommy Lee (MÖTLEY CRÜE), Billy Cobham (MILE DAVIS), Ian Paice (DEEP PURPLE), Ginger Baker (CREAM), Clem Burke (BLONDIE), John Blackwell (PRINCE), Zigaboo Modeliste (THE METERS), Jack DeJonette (Miles Davies), Alex Acu?a (WEATHER REPORT), Sheila E (Prince) and Neil Peart (RUSH), who has also written the foreword for the book.
