SABATON have release footage from their show at Przystanek Woodstock Festival Poland, which took place in Kostrzyn On The Oder, Poland from Thursday, August 2nd to Saturday August 4th. Check it out below:
Sabaton recently released the track ‘Long Live The King’ via Spotify.
Frontman Joakim Brodén commented on the song: “Actually one of the first songs (if not the first) I wrote for this album and also one of the reasons that we decided to record the album in Swedish as well as English. When I wrote the chorus, the lyrics came to me in Swedish at the same time as I was writing the music, so I basically recorded the chorus in Swedish, and the rest in English on the pre-production. When Pär and I listened to it later we talked about doing that song in Swedish, which a couple of beers later resulted in us deciding to do the whole album in both languages.”
‘Love Live The King’ comes off the band’s latest album Carolus Rex, which recently hit the charts around the world. The band commented: "We just found out the amazing news that Sabaton entered the world charts at #50. With that Sabaton are at the moment the bestselling Swedish artist, worldwide, all because of YOU who bought the brand new album Carolus Rex!"
Carolus Rex chart positions are as follows:
Sweden: #2
Poland: #7
Germany: #7
Finland: #9
World chart #50
