British metallers SACRED MOTHER TONGUE have announced that their album The Ruin Of Man will have a full release in France on March 3rd.

The album will be distributed by La Baleine who’s pedigree includes releases for classics such as TESTAMENT, MANOWAR and SAXON, as well as more contemporary metallers like KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, POISON THE WELL and ARCHITECTS.

Sacred Mother Tongue will also be in the company of various other Brit breakthrough bands including BMTH, SYLOSIS and ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY who feature on the distribution roster.

The bands’ debut album, The Ruin Of Man, has sold extremely well in their native UK and earned much praise from press and fans alike, particularly for the skills of their World class guitarist Andy James who is rapidly being recognised as one of the best

shredders on the planet.

SMT played a string of very high profile UK dates in the support of the album including Download (2nd Stage), Hard Rock Hell, Hammerfest, Hellfire Festival as well as their own 2-month headline tour. The band have confirmed that they will be playing some very special dates in France allowing them to get up close and personal with French fans, details of these shows will be announced shortly.

Sacred Mother Tongue are currently holed up in the studio working on their second album, which will be completed in the latter half of 2010.
