SAMMY HAGAR Opens Cabo Wabo In Las Vegas; Guitar Smashing, Plus Live Video Available

SAMMY HAGAR's Cabo Wabo Cantina celebrated its official grand opening last night (Friday, December 4) in at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Hagar smashed a guitar just before the grand opening for fans and the press. Check out video of the event below:
Hagar and his band THE WABORITAS played a free show at the event which also including RED HOT CHILI PEPPER drummer Chad Smith and ex-VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony (the three of them are in the band CHICKENFOOT), ex-PANTERA drummer Vinnie Paul and Jason Bonham.

Cabo Wabo Cantina is a two-story, 15,000 square foot restaurant and nightclub. The food and cocktail menus feature much of the same items as the original cantina in Cabo San Lucas. The food will be traditional and contemporary selections inspired by the fresh seafood and local fare of Cabo. The cocktail menu places heavy emphasis on Sammy’s spirit of choice, tequila, and features margaritas and other refreshing beverages perfect for cooling off in the desert.
