Vocalist SARAH JEZEBEL DEVA recently announced her one-off return to CRADLE OF FILTH for the band's new orchestral album, Midnight In The Labyrinth. She has checked in with the following update:

"I must admit, listening to all these COF tracks in orchestral form is bringing back so many memories. The keys in COF used to be so beautiful and emotional. I can't say I miss any of it, but the old sound does pull on the heart strings 'cos I was so young. Anyway, each and every one of you, I hope all your dreams and wishes come true. Try to make a difference to those who have no voice, both animal and human, lets make this shit planet a little better in 2012. Happy New Year."

About Midnight In The Labyrinth,Cradle Of Filth frontman Dani Filth recently explained: "This exciting COF project which features nine classic Cradle tunes reinvented as orchestral compositions. This is no elevator music (or indeed the theme music to Schindler's Lift!), this is a full-on horror film soundtrack in the vein of Danny Elfman, Christopher Young or Jerry Goldsmith. Musical scores to whittle away the evil winter months to… this should see the poisonous light of day in April 2012-ish."

The full running order for this opus nocturne is as follows, though possibly not in this precise order…

'The Forest Whispers My Name'

'The Twisted Nails Of Faith'

'Summer Dying Fast' -a preview of this appearing on the EP

'The Rape And Ruin Of Angels (Hosannas In Extremis)'

'Funeral In Carpathia'

'Thirteen Autumns And A Widow'
