SATYRICON - Drum Recording Done For New Album

Norwegian black metal staples SATYRICON are in the midst of recording their eighth album, the follow-up to 2008's The Age Of Nero. Currently, the drums are finished and takes are being selected. More guitars will be added soon. The as yet untitled effort is scheduled for release in September. Two photos from the studio can be seen below:

According to band leader Satyr, the music will greatly differ from what the group has released in the two previous decades.

Satyricon will premier new material at Oslo, Norway's Inferno Festival, which is being held at the venues Rockefeller, John Dee, Rock In, Blå, Unholy, Victoria and Revolver from March 27th to 30th.
