SAXON To Play New Material At Greek Tour Kick-Off

SAXON's Biff Byford talked with Rockpages.gr about the band's new album and the upcoming shows in Greece. The interview will be posted soon, but in the meantime, the legendary British singer revealed that the Greek audiences in in Athens and Thessaloniki will be the first to hear new songs from Saxon's upcoming album, Call To Arms.

Says Byford: "We were asked if we wanted to start the tour in Greece, and we said 'Yeah, fantastic!' You know we have some great fans in Greece and the Greek people like heavy rock, heavy metal, so it’s a great honour to start the tour from Greece, and you will be the first people to listen some new songs from Call To Arms! I could not think of a better place to start the tour, really!"
