A 37-minute behind-the-scenes video of the SCORPIONS rehearsing in Athens, Greece this past June is available at this location.

BW&BK; spoke to Scorpions singer Klaus Meine recently about a number of topics including their new album, Humanity - Hour 1. “I think it’s definitely a more mature kind of record,” says Meine. “And working with Desmond Child and some of the best artists and writers in rock ‘n’ roll - James Michael, who also produced the record, Eric Bazilian, Marti Frederiksen - in a way, we’re back with old friends and family. But it was different because it was a collaboration with all these writers. When Desmond introduced to us to the idea, the concept of Humanity Hour 1, we now had a red line all throughout the recording sessions. And it was a huge pool of creativity, working with all these people, while still trying to come out with hopefully another milestone record, and hopefully another album that rocks, with a lot of attitude, great lyrics, and not so much boys chasing girls, but a deeper meaning, carrying the message of humanity, where all the songs are connected with this kind of concept.”
