SEVEN WITCHES's Deadly Sins To Be "Very Heavy And Fast Sounding"; JACK FROST Welcomes Drummer Sean Delaney
December 1, 2006, 17 years ago
SEVEN WITCHES founder/guitarist JACK FROST (ex-SAVATAGE) has issued the following message:
"What's up folks? Thought I'd drop all of you a line and give you some updates as to what's been going on in the land of the Witches. Let's see where to start?First off, the new Seven Witches album, will be out in the spring of '07. So far the working title is Deadly Sins. It will based on Gandhi's seven deadly sins. It's going to be very heavy and fast sounding.
I'd also like to a minute to welcome Steve Delaney, who will be on drums for this our seventh album.
Also, I just played on the LIBERTY AND JUSTICE upcoming acoustic CD which will be out early next year.
Although I can't release any specific details as of yet, we have a new record deal in the works for, not only the USA or Europe, but the world! Unfortunately, we won't be able to let the whole cat out of the bag until January '07. This is a great way to start off the new year. With the new deal, we will be recording a new live CD and a new DVD. We also have an official Jack Frost/Seven Witches MySpace page, go check it out, it's killer!
For those of you following my solo stuff, my solo band, FROST, will have a new album out in the summer, on the same above mentioned label. The working title is One Step Closer To Heaven. This album will take a trip back to the 80s with a country twang. And as always, there will be a lot of amazing guest appearances from the metal and rock world.
On the "Live" front, Witches will do a few shows in January to coincide with my NAMM appearances for FUCHS Audio Technology, Guitar Cable.com, Electro Voice and a few others in Anaheim, CA.
This year will have a lot of cool things happening. We will be officially unveiling my first signature series amp's, The Frost 100. Together with Fuchs Audio Technology, I have helped to design what I feel is the best amp on the market today. Check it out here.
Also, in conjunction with guitarcable.com, who not only make outstanding guitar cables, patch cords and many other great items, I have helped to design a killer set of road worthy, high end cabinets. These cabinets are loaded with 200 watt 4 X 12 EV Classics for that killer high powered sound that any real metal player needs and are available with a choice of cabinet grill cloths to fit your look. Each cabinet comes in it's own road case for the musician on the constant go who's tired of having his or her equipment banged up or damaged from the constant moving. We've got some pictures here, check em' out.
And although, once again, I can't release any specific details, I'll have a signature series guitar coming out early next year. We are going through contracts and will add the specifics as to the manufacturer and availability as soon as we can.
Again on the live front, BRONX CASKET CO. may be hitting the road in March, but we will be making a new album in the summer. This will be the first with DD Verni singing the whole thing. With DD's vocal abilities, I'm sure this will be another killer album.
I guess that's about it for now. In the event I don't get to send anything in before the holidays, I want to wish all of you a fantastic holiday season and great new year!"
